Río Colorado, what to visit See map

Pichi Mahuida Spot 

95 kilometers from Río Colorado is this place where it is the railway station, declared a Historic Railroad Museum. There is also the road bridge opened in 1904. It is a propitious place for watching flora and fauna. It is accessed via Provincial Route 54 which follows the National Route 22.

Salto Andersen Dam 

cactusIn Pichi Mahuida place you can observe the native flora and fauna.

It is located 70 kilometers from the town and serves as a leveler and derivative dock allowing not runoff flows downstream of Salto Andersen system. There you can visit the various units of the hydroelectric plant to see how the dam works. You can also do a walk through natural bush where you can see the diversity of flora and fauna.

Vineyard "La Lutecia"

25 kilometers from Río Colorado you can visit this vineyard where you can know the productive activity carried out since 1920.

Ideal for a walk to see the Valley of Colorado.

Farms

Even the fields are accessible by bicycle. They are located 15 kilometers from the town and there you can see the work being done on a farm, in the packing of fruit and know the treatment of the fruit crops.
