Alvear Hill

Crossing Valley of Tierra Mayor nature and landscape reserve in Tierra del Fuego, we arrive at the Alvear mountain range from where we start to climb, snow, rock and ice are part of the landscape. Once you reach the top you can see the Beagle Channel, lakes Escondido, Fagnano and Yehuin, and the mountain range Darwin in Chile. Duration: 1 day. Difficulty level: Medium. 

Andorra - Canyon de la Oveja 

Surrounding the city from behind it is the mountain range of the Valley of Andorra. On leaving the wooded area you find the canyon de la Oveja until you reach the lagoon of Caminante. In this place you can overnight to tour the next day the top of the canyon, then south to reach the National Route 3. Duration 2 days. Level: 

Demanding (minimal experience in the mountains).

Martial Glacier

The tour starts at the downhill ski slope of Club Andino, and at 100 m. it is connected with the cross-country slope coming to the Martial Glacier chairlift. From here you continue on the ski slopes of the glacier to reach the shelter of the Club Andino Ushuaia. At this point a path reaches the foot of the Martial Glacier, where the ascent is done either ice climbing or reaching the edge. From this place it can be seen in all its vastness the Beagle Channel. Duration 1 day. Level: Medium.

Portillo Hill

It is located northeast of the city starting the tour on the Grande stream, to reach a destroyed shelter on the side of the Chico River. In this place you can clearly see the hill, from here you leave the path towards the hauling out of the forest base. Once in the hauling begins the ascent, at reaching the summit there is a view of the city, the Beagle Channel, Navarino Island and Hoste. 10/12 hours duration. Level: Medium.

Olivia Hill

Becuase of its figure is the most beautiful mountains surrounding Ushuaia. To access the normal route you have to arrive at the inn Faldeo del Olivia on National Route 3. Here begins a path that leads to the timber in the direction to a circus rather broad called "comedor", from the bottom of this circus you start taking the route of ascent. From the top you have a spectacular view of Mount Cinco Hermanos and the Beagle Channel. Duration 1 day. Level: Medium.

Domo Blanco Hill

It is located in the valley of Mount Alvear. Since the winter resort Tierra Mayor you cross the bog up the valley by a wide bite where you can reach the bottom of the valley. In this place is a barely trodden path that leads beneath Alvear Hill. This is the point where the ascent starts. From the summit you saw the Lake Fagnano, the valley Carabajal, Lake Esmeralda, Albino glacier and Alvear Hill. Duration 10/11 hours. Level: 

Demanding.

La Esfinge Hill

The tour begins at Lake Esmeralda, located at the base of the west wall of the Esfinge hill. From here the ascent is made by grasses and rushes, totally outside the forest boundary to the east from where you can see the path of ascent. From hill's tower you can see the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia and the whole valley of Andorra. Duration 8/9 hours. Level: 

Demanding.

Glacier Trekking

It is a journey of 7 hours, which raises the Martial Glacier, walking on the ice, you do climbing on a crack and live a glacier from above. The departure and return is from the base of the chairlift, passing by the shelter of the Club Andino Ushuaia, located at the end of the route of the slinging. Travel 7 hours. Level: Medium.

The End of the World Summits

It is a journey of trekking, climbing the hills surrounding the town from the north, where you get the best panoramic views in the area. The tour begins at the edge of town (Mirador del Beagle distric) and you ascend the Del Medio hill, Margot Lagoon, Mount Roy, walked the Roy edge, where there are excellent views of the city, the bay and the mountains to the north. Then you descend to the Martial Glacier. You go through the shelter of the Club Andino Ushuaia on the Martial and continue down to the base of the chairlift. Travel 8 hours. Level: Demanding.
