The town of Cinco Saltos, since 1976, during the first days of February dresses up to celebrate the valley's primary resource, water.
There were a couple of years that the party could not be performed, but today the traditional Provincial Water Festival on the peninsula Ruca Có-lake Pellegrini is a great event awaited by locals and tourists who want to vacation or spend the day on the lake.
During the weekend event, on the grounds of the public bathing water, cultural and art activities take place, among which stand the handball tournament, the giant chess on the beach, a display of windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking trips, the construction of an ice bar, a concert of local bands on both days and the traditional closing with fireworks at the end of the lake.
The organization of the Party is in charge of the Municipal Office for the Coordination of Local Development, Production and Tourism, which aims to restore and reposition the traditional Festival of Lake Pellegrini.
A promising program full of activities with a good climate are the elements necessary to spend a weekend on Lake Pellegrini with friends or family and enjoy this feast. Also, for sports lovers they should keep in mind the lake as an excellent place to practice all year.
