Winter sports center Cerro Perito Moreno See map

El Bolsón has an option for the winter season like other tourist destinations of Patagonia. Since 2008 the Centre Cerro Perito Moreno is enabled as an ideal winter sports center to enjoy with family and contact with nature.

Snowboarding is one of the most popular among young people.

Just 25 km El Bolson taking Mallin Ahogado Circuit through a gravel road in good condition, is located a different ski resort, quiet, family and with all the services needed to enjoy practice of various snow activities.

The Club Andino Piltriquitrón is the main provider of this resort. There you can ski downhill, cross country, Nordic, snowboarding and sleigh rides during the months of June to September.

You can enjoy pleasant walks  and climbs to the summit to admire the beauty in the seasons of spring, summer and autumn suitable for the whole family.

Slope features

The slope is 750 meters of vertical drop (ensuring the presence of snow for four months) that cover the hill making its way through the forests of lengas and ñires where there is not abundant wind. There are different possible combinations for the tastes and abilities of each person.

• Slope levels difficult, intermediate and begginer.
• Off-piste skiing (forest).
• Extreme skiing.

The center has a ski lift T-bar type 1000 m length, which is the primary average elevation, one double chairlift of 1000 meters and 4 poma type in easy and intermediate slopes. Thus, the lifting capacity is 2600 people per hour.

Apart from the upper slopes at the base of the hill is the Snow Park with a slope and a place where you can rent equipment. The park is open every day from 10 to 17:30.

Mountain hut "Albrecht Rudolph"

The Hill has a mountain lodge, built of wood, with a capacity for 60 people and a restaurant / tearoom to 100 visitors who serves meals, breakfast and lunch.

The refuge is a spacious and comfortable place to relax after a long day of activities or to see the panoramic view offered by the landscape, in a heated environment and satellite TV services and rural telephony.

The reguge is the place chosen to rest and drink something hot surrounded by a particular view.

Other services offered on the Hill:

• Hiring ski instructors.
• Ski School Club Andino Piltriquitrón for members from six years of age.
• Rent skis, snowboards, sledges and clothing for the sport.
• Tours and visits to Plateau with snowmobile sled.
• Snow Park - snack bar - equipment rental
• Private ski school for all ages.
