Gwyl Glaniad, the Landing Festival in Gaiman See map

Every July 28 is celebrated in Gaiman the "Landing Festival" (Gwyl Glaniad) where the chapels became the center of the festivities.

There he "Welsh tea" is served en masse. In this festive ceremony for the palate the descendants of Welsh settlers and the wider community that adheres to the usual welcome are involved.

Neighbors of the chapels constituted Commission, prepare the tea. Simultaneously, in the courtyards of the chapels are held games, equestrian skills and evening concert.

Tea Houses

Throughout the year, the inhabitants of the region and tourists visiting Gaiman are attracted by its landscape and the possibility of entering a room tastefully decorated and ready to enjoy the "traditional Welsh tea", served accompanied by a totally homemade pastries. Different tea houses in Gaiman are:

The important Welsh seed in Chubut has been distributed to different parts of the province. This allows the traditional Welsh tea may not only be appreciated in the famous Gaiman, but elsewhere as Trelew, Puerto Madryn, Trevelin and various fields.
