The Triathlon in Playas Doradas See map

The city of fine sands and warm waters is the protagonist of one of the most important events for the sports world. Playas Doradas is home to the Argentine Championship of Adventure Triathlon integrating cross jogging, swimming and mountain biking. 

Cycling is one of the three disciplines involved in triathlon.

In late February this competition is carried out in Individual and Team forms (relays of 2 or 3 members) that have different age categories.

Participants must travel a circuit of 1 km of open water swimming, 30 km of mountain bike by the coastal road to Punta Colorada and return in Las Casitas, and 7 km of croos jogging that go around the creek, without crossing it, and the return is along the waterfront.

It also provides, for those competitors who just run or ride a bike to participate of the realy integrating it with one of the lifeguards at the pools.

For the winners of the event awards ceremony consists of money for the top three in each category and modality as well as awards to all participants of the competition.
