Villa El Chocón Museum See map

The museum of El Chocón is run by Rubén Carolini and the imprint of the "dinosaur hunter", as he likes to call himself, that is evident in the facilities.

In addition to the fossil remains of the Giganoto, arranged as they were found, there is a space lively as the desert surrounding the town in which it is raised a camp of "dinosaur hunters" with a tent, the mate and even the sandpit vehicle built by Carolini and in which he ran along the fences in search of fossils.

Almost daily trips are made to sites in the Valley of the Dinosaurs. Near the museum you can see fossilized dinosaur footprints on the shores of Lake Ramos Mexia.

huellasThe dinosaur footprints are some of the jewelry that keeps the museum.
