Laura Bay Nature Reserve is located 150 kilometers south of Puerto Deseado. It covers an area between the lighthouse Camapana and Cape Guardian.
The reserve is divided into zones. In Punta Mercedes you can see many sea birds such as ducks vapor, ducks crests and white-rumped sandpipers. Here, too, live a colony of cormorant of black neck and a kelp gulls. From time to time it come to the Bay Commerson's dolphins. In the area of Cape Guardián is a colony of Magellanic, on the island Raza Chica live a colony of penguins and another of imperial shags, and in the islets of Bagio black oystercatchers, gulls and Magellanic penguins can be seen.
Those who come to the site will be able to spend the day or camping, becuase the site has a resort and fishing is also possible.
The reserve is accessed from Tellier by the Provincial Routes 47, 62 and 83.
