The town of Chubut, Río Mayo, offers different places to know its geography, fauna and flora.

Lake Fontana and La Plata

They are located 150 km from the city center passing over the National Route 40. Upon arrival at the source of the river Senguer you will find these two lakes of an important natural resource. In them you can choose to camp or rent a cabin and enjoy the predominant activity par excellence, sport fishing.

Complex of Lake Las Margaritas

You access the Complex by traveling 120 km on National Route 26 on road to Chile, in the border village of Aldea Beleiro. One of the most important corners of the province for its natural perfection. It is considered a special paradise for relaxation and contact with life in peace and harmony through nature. There you can rent beautiful cabins, use different areas of free camping, and fish large pieces.

The Bridge

This site now called "Puente Viejo" was a necessary step for those old Patagonian carreros, that with the passage of time they were gradually became in truckers. The timbers of the bridge joined the history and progress of this town and region. Today we feel tired and overwhelmed by so many struggles with the waters of Mayo river, but it is still stand as silent witness.
