A visit to Viejo Hill in Bariloche See map
Ecotourism Park Viejo Hill is an viewpoint that offers a panoramic view that is very close to Bariloche on the hill Runge.
Location: is at km 1 of Av Ezequiel Bustillo, just 10 minutes walk from Bariloche's Civic Center.
The ascent to the mountain is done on a chairlift that takes visitors to the viewpoint, where you will find a café for a break. And the decline can be done in two ways:
- One is a typical path down the mountain, enjoying a pleasant interpretation walk of the native flora that culminates in an ancient forest of myrtle.
- The other is to descend from a much more modern and furious, using a practical and fun slide.
The visit is completed with the Mountaineer Museum, where you can learn the history of the pioneers of skiing and climbing in the region. This museum is housed in an ancient wooden shed that was one of the first ski factories in Bariloche. It is an interesting alternative for the whole family.
