Caviahue comes as winter resort that offers all services, accommodation and entertainment for tourists who come to enjoy the snow.
If you are to go on a weekend, starting Friday to choose or if you are already there, stay until Friday to enjoy the Torchlight Parade, an event held every Friday evening from 19 hours in the ski resort.
The proposal of the organizers is that the parade represents a farewell to those who passed through Caviahue and a welcome to newcomers.
The traditional torchlight parade, allows all skiers both adults or children, beginner or advanced, to perform, along with ski instructors and trackers, the descent in which they carry in their hands a lighted torch.
Spectators can enjoy this spectacle of deployment, fire, and color, from the deck of the confectionery. To close this activity it is invited to all participants with a refreshing "mulled wine", ideal for enjoying a cold mountain night.

The ski center of Caviahue has a towing capacity of 7,400 skiers per hour, there is no possibility in registering delays in the lifts considering that the town has about 1,200 hotel beds.
In the snow you can go downhill skiing, which if necessary you can take private or group instruction in the ski resort.
There are also snowmobiles and snowtracks. The bikes go through the forests of araucarias, rivers, lakes and frozen lagoons, with the itineraries by Copahue and its geothermal well, a walk through streams of water, sulfurs, fumaroles, steam and mud, by the Dulce stream's waterfall and lagoon Escondida; by the circuit T-Bar, and by the Mesa hill.
The snowtracks are vehicles tracks that take you around to Copahue, to Lagoon Hualcupén, to the Milestone by Mesa hill and to the Salto del Agrio. For the more adventurous there is the possibility of reach the crater of the volcano Copahue with snowtracks. Once there, from the mouth of the volcano you begin a trek to the crater where there is a high-temperature acidic lake and a glacier.
The volcanos Lanin, Domuyo and Antuco surround this unique setting. Those wishing more adrenaline can return eight kilometers skiing by powder snow off-piste itineraries.
Lovers of walks and hikes can explore forests in snowshoe tours that go to the Escondida waterfall or to the Dulce stream's waterfall.
One of the major advantages of visiting this ski resort is that is surrounded by thermal waters, an ideal choice to take remedial treatments with thermal water and sludge from Copahue after hours skiing.
