Summer holidays are living with good weather and high temperatures in the Cerro Catedral, another option for visitors to Bariloche.

Most children also have their place in the Hill.

Cerro Catedral offers an exceptional setting to enjoy spectacular scenery and experience nature. During summer the traditional ski resort is transformed into a center for mountain activities with proposals to all the family and kids and for all tastes.

During January and February, rising by cable car Amancay and chair Triple Diente de Caballo include the ability to perform various guided activities.

Catedral has a demarcated bike circuit from 1800 meters to the base.

One proposal is mountain biking, a sport where you can explore the entire hill, through trails and forest, entranced by the magic of the Catedral in the summer. For this activity will be available on Bike Route with special promotions for those who have their permanent resident pass and for the residents of Bariloche. This is a recirculating day pass with which you can be up and down every time a visitor wants in the schedule from 10 to 17.30.

This area is ideal for hiking, that's why trekkings are scheduled for all ages on the edge of the mountain and by various sectors enjoying the natural beauty and the spectacular view from the summit. In Punta Princesa you can rock climbing from 15 years and there is a multi-activity outdoor space for kids filled with games. There the little ones can jump on the trampoline, entertaining in baseball, jump off the zip line, climb the new arena, cross the suspension bridge or just have fun on a different day on the mountain.

For kids thoroughly enjoy the mountain and parents can also do it, the Kids Club works every summer with activities for children from 3 to 14 years as inflatable games, children's food shops, spots shop, music and games. All these special summer activities can be enjoyed free of charge, just presenting the ticket for promotion to the lifts.

From the Cerro Catedral the panoramic view is fabulous.

There is also open the Skate Park at the base with free access for fans of the table. The ones which not count with the necessary equipment they may rent it on the hill.

More activities

On the other hand, may be engaged in the Base Fourtrax rides (ATV motor) and from there leaves the Processions around the mountain trails with spectacular sceneries combined with the adventure of riding through the mountains on horseback.

For the more daring ones will continue the Catedral classic: the Mountain Board. This is a skateboard with rubber wheels that allow great stability on all terrain and ease of maneuvering flexible and secure with the brake on the rear wheels, which is operated with one hand. Expert instructors teach and accompany those who make this sport fun and provide them with all the necessary elements: table, brace, helmet, wrist and gloves. Those who dominate the table can also choose mountain trails.
